免疫佐劑,是一類(lèi)可以增強(qiáng)抗原免疫原性的免疫調(diào)節(jié)分子、化合物或大分子復(fù)合物。大多數(shù)佐劑可以通過(guò)啟動(dòng)先天免疫系統(tǒng)來(lái)輔助抗原應(yīng)答。先天免疫系統(tǒng)通過(guò)模式識(shí)別受體(pattern recognition receptor,PRR)來(lái)感知各種微生物表達(dá)的病原體相關(guān)分子模式(PAMPs)的存在,激活對(duì)病原體的先天性免疫信號(hào)通路并調(diào)節(jié)適應(yīng)性免疫應(yīng)答。添加天然或人工合成的佐劑分子有助于恢復(fù)或改進(jìn)純化抗原的免疫原性,調(diào)節(jié)免疫應(yīng)答類(lèi)型,在現(xiàn)代疫苗學(xué)研究中具有重要意義。含 CpG 序列的寡脫氧核苷酸(oligonucleotide,ODN)可模擬哺乳動(dòng)物免疫系統(tǒng)的“危險(xiǎn)信號(hào)”,參與機(jī)體免疫應(yīng)答的調(diào)節(jié),增強(qiáng)疫苗的免疫原性。
