RNase是生物體的“保護(hù)傘”,可防止外源RNA入侵。幾乎任何一種原核生物與真核生物細(xì)胞類型中均可找到RNase。眼淚、唾液、粘液和汗液等體液中分泌這些RNase,通過它們來防御微生物的入侵。RNase也存在于皮膚碎屑中,掉落于實(shí)驗(yàn)臺的毛發(fā)上,或粘附于衣物的寵物毛發(fā)內(nèi)。不過,大多數(shù)環(huán)境中RNase的首要來源是微生物——即細(xì)菌和真菌。在操作過程中,必須消除、檢測和抑制RNase。
