產品描述

Competitive sphingosine kinase (SphK) inhibitor. Exhibits inhibitory activity in platelets and in cytosolic extracts from U937, Swiss 3T3 and PC12 cells. Selectively inhibits sphingosine phosphorylation; does not inhibit N-acylation, and displays no inhibitory effect on protein kinase C at concentrations that inhibit SphK. Increases the release of IL-1beta and MCP-1 in cultured astrocytes; thought to mediate mechanical allodynia via this mechanism.Sequence:C20H41NO2Solubility:DMSO (~30mM)Molecular Weight:~327.55Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
