產品描述: The BCA Protein BioAssay kit II is useful for colorimetric detection and quantification of total protein content even in the presence of detergents. This kit also includes Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as a protein standard for estimation of total protein content of the samples.Sample Type:Pure proteins, cell/tissue extracts or lysatesIntended Use:For measuring total protein concentration of pure proteins, extracts or lysates.Test Principle:This BioAssay kit is based on the chelation of bicinchoninic acid (BCA) with the cuprous cation (Cu+1), which is generated by reduction of cupric cation (Cu+2) with the protein in an alkaline medium. The amount of purple-colored product formed during the reaction can be correlated to the amount of protein in the assay. The Cu+1-BCA chelate is a water-soluble complex and exhibits a strong absorbance at 562nm that is linear over a wide range of protein concentrations between 25-2000ug/ml. In general, protein concentrations are estimated with reference to a commonly used protein standard. Kit Components:BCA Reagent A, 2x500ml BCA Reagent B, 1x25ml BSA Standard, 2mg/ml, 10x1mlStorage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
