產品描述: Cathepsin K (CTSK, EC 3.4.22.38), a lysosomal cysteine protease, is involved in osteoclastic bone remodeling and resorption. In addition, it also degrades collagen, gelatin and elastin.Intended Use:High-throughput adaptable assay to screen, study and characterize the potential inhibitors of Cathepsin K. Test Principle:The Cathepsin K Inhibitor Screening BioAssay Kit utilizes the ability of active Cathepsin K to cleave the synthetic AFC based peptide substrate to release AFC, which can be easily quantified using a fluorometer or fluorescence microplate reader. In the presence of a Cathepsin K-specific inhibitor, the cleavage of this substrate is reduced/abolished resulting in decrease or total loss of the AFC fluorescence.Kit Components:CTSK Reaction Buffer, 1x15ml ?CTSK Reagent, 1x100ul?Cathepsin K (Human), 1x10ul ?CTSK Substrate, Ac-LR-AFC, 10mM, 1x200ul ?CTSK Inhibitor, FF-FMK, 1mM, 1x20ul Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
