- The rat CRP (C Reactive Protein) BioAssay ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of rat CRP. Sample Type:Serum, plasma and cell culture supernatantsIntended Use:Applications include: quantitative protein detection, establishing normal range and validation of antibody array results.Sensitivity:The minimum detectable dose of CRP is typically <0.2ng/ml.Range:0.2-60ng/mlSpecificity:Recognizes rat CRP. This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with the following cytokines tested: rat CINC-2, CINC-3, CNTF, Fractalkine, IL-1alpha, IL-1beta, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, GM-CSF, IFN-gamma, Leptin, Lix, MCP-1, MIP-3alpha, beta-NGF, TIMP-1, TNF-alpha.Test Principle:This BioAssay employs an antibody specific for rat CRP coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and CRP present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Rat CRP antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CRP bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450nm. The intra-Assay reproducibility is CV<10% & inter-Assay is CV<12%.Kit Components:CRP Microplate (Item A), 1x96 wells Wash Buffer Concentrate, 20X, (Item B), 1x25mlStandards (Item C), 2x vialsAssay Diluent (Item E), 5X, 2x15mlDetection Antibody CRP (Item F), 2x vialsHRP-Streptavidin Concentrate (Item G), 500X, 1x200ulTMB One-Step Substrate Reagent (Item H), 1x12mlStop Solution (Item I), 1x8mlStorage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
