- The mouse IL-1 alpha BioAssay ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of mouse IL-1 alpha.Sample Type:Serum, plasma and cell culture supernatantsIntended Use:For use in quantitative protein detection, establishing normal range and validation of antibody array results.Sensitivity:The minimum detectable concentration of IL-1 alpha is <10pg/ml.Range:10-3000pg/mlSpecificity:Recognizes mouse IL-1 alpha. This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with any of the cytokines tested (e.g Mouse CD30, L CD30, T CD40, CRG-2, CTACK, CXCL16, Eotaxin , Eotaxin-2, Fas Ligand, Fractalkine, GCSF, IFN-g, IGFBP-3, IGFBP-5, IGFBP-6, IL-1a, IL-1b, IL-13, KC, Leptin R, LEPTIN(OB), LIX, L-Selectin, Lymphotactin, MCP-5, M-CSF, MIG, MIP-1a, MIP-1gamma, MIP-2, MIP-3b, MIP-3a, PF-4, P-Selectin, SCF, SDF-1a, TARC, TCA-3, TECK, TIMP-1, TNF RI, TPO, VEGF).Test Principle:This BioAssay employs an antibody specific for human IL-1 alpha coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and IL-1 alpha present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-mouse IL-1 alpha antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL-1 alpha bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450nm. The intra-Assay reproducibility is CV<10% & inter-Assay is CV<12%.Kit Components:Mouse IL-1 alpha Ab Coated Plate (Item A), 1x96wells 20X Wash Buffer Concentrate (Item B), 1x25ml Mouse IL-1 alpha Standard (Item C), 2x vials Assay Diluent D (5x) (Item K), 1x15ml Assay Diluent B (5x) (Item E), 1x15mlBiotinylated anti-mouse IL-1 alpha Ab (Item F), 2x vialHRP-Streptavidin Concentrate (500x) (Item G), 1x200ul TMB (Item H), 1x12ml Stop Solution (Item I), 1x8ml Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
