產品描述: This gene product is a gamma-carboxyglutamic acid (Gla)-containing protein thought to be involved in the stimulation of cell proliferation, and may play a role in thrombosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.Sample Type:Serum, plasma and tissue homogenatesIntended Use:For the quantitative determination of mouse growth arrest-specific gene-6 (gas-6) concentrations in serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity:17.086pg/mlRange:31.25-2000pg/mlSpecificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse gas-6. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse gas-6and analogues was observed.Test Principle:This BioAssay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for gas-6 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any gas-6 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for gas-6 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of gas-6 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
