- Intended Use:Hepatitis B Virus Core Antibody, IgM, (HBcAb-IgM), BioAssay ELISA Kit (Human) is for the qualitative determination of human anti-hepatitis B virus core antibody IgM (HBcAb-IgM) concentrations in serum and plasma. This kit is intended for research use only and may not be used for therapeutic or diagnostic applications.Principle of the Test:The Hepatitis B Virus Core Antibody, IgM, (HBcAb-IgM), BioAssay ELISA Kit employs the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with anti-human IgM. Samples are pipetted into the wells with antigen conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of human HBcAb-IgM bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.Specificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human HBcAb-IgM. No significan cross-reactivity or interference between human HBcAb-IgM and analogs was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the crossreactivity detection between human HBcAb-IgM and all the analogs. Therefore, crossreaction may still exist.Precision:Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay) CV%: <15%Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays) CV%: <15%Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.Kit Components:227703A: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells227703B: Negative Control, 1x500ul227703C: Positive Control, 1x500ul227703D: HRP Conjugate, 1x12ml227703E: Wash Buffer, 20X, 1x30ml227703F: Substrate A, 1x6ml227703G: Substrate B, 1x6ml227703H: Stop Solution, 1x6mlNote: The Stop Solution (227938N) provided with this kit is an acid solution. Wear eye, hand, face, and clothing protection when using this material.Storage and Stability:Store kit at 4°C. The unopended kit is stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable up to 1 month at 4°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
