- Hepatitis D Virus Antibody, IgG, (HDV), BioAssay ELISA Kit is for the qualitative determination of Hepatitis D Virus Antibody, IgG, (HDV) concentrations in human serum and plasma. This kit is intended for research use only and may not be used for therapeutic or diagnostic applications.Principle of the Test:The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with antigen. Samples are pipetted into the wells with anti-human IgG (HRP). Any antibodies specific for the antigen present will bind to the pre-coated antigen. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of human HDV antibody (IgG) bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.Specificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human HDV antibody (IgG). No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human HDV antibody (IgG) and analogues was observed.Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the crossreactivity detection between human HDV and all the analogs. Therefore, crossreaction may still exist.Precision:Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay) %CV: <15%Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays) %CV: <15%Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.Kit Components:227715A: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells227715B: Negative Control, 1x300ul227715C: Positive Control, 1x300ul227715D: Sample Diluent, 1x12ml227715E: HRP Conjugate, 1x12ml227715F: Wash Buffer, 30X, 1x30ml227715G: Substrate A, 1x6ml227715H: Substrate B, 1x6ml227715J: Stop Solution, 1x6mlNote: The Stop Solution (227715J) provided with this kit is an acid solution. Wear eye, hand, face, and clothing protection when using this material.Storage and Stability:Store kit at 4°C. The unopended kit is stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable up to 2 weeks at 4°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
