- Sample Type:Serum and plasmaIntended Use:For the quantitative determination of human kappa immunoglobulin light chain (k-IgLC) concentrations in serum and plasma. Sensitivity:0.078ug/mlRange:0.078-20ug/mlSpecificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human k-IgLC. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human k-IgLC and analogues was observed.Test Principle:This BioAssay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with k-IgLC. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for k-IgLC. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated k-IgLC and k-IgLC in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of k-IgLC in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
