- Sample Type:Serum, plasma and tissue homogenatesIntended Use:For the quantitative determination of human lipoprotein a (Lp-a) concentrations in serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity:53.106ng/mlRange:62.5-4000ng/mlSpecificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human Lp-a. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human Lp-a and analogues was observed.Test Principle:This BioAssay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Lp-a. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for Lp-a. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated Lp-a and Lp-a in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Lp-a in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components:Assay plate, 1x96 wellsStandard (10X), 1x200ul HRP-conjugate (100X), 1x60ul HRP-conjugate Diluent, 1x10ml Sample Diluent, 2x20ml Wash Buffer (25X), 1x20ml TMB Substrate, 1x10ml Stop Solution, 1x10ml Adhesive Strip (For 96 wells), 4x strips Instruction manual Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
