- Intended Use:Isolation of total RNA including small RNAs (<200nt) and large RNAs (>200nt) fromtissue culture cells and small tissue samples.Sample Type:Tissue culture cells and small tissue samplesTest Principle:Spin column based RNA isolation method is routinely used, however, does not effectively recover small RNAs (<200nt). This Broad Range Total RNA Isolation BioAssay Kit provides a rapid method for co-purifying small RNAs (<200nt) and large RNAs (>200nt) from tissue culture cells and small tissue samples. These small RNAs include regulatory RNA molecules such as microRNAs (miRNAs) and short interfering RNAs (siRNA), as well as tRNAs and 5S rRNAs. The RNAs isolated using this Broad Range Total Isolation Kit can be used in various downstream applications relating to gene regulation and functional analysis, including qRT-PCR, northern blotting and microarray profiling analysis.Kit Components:Lysis Buffer, 1x50ml Lysis Enhancer Solution, 1x5mlAcidic Phenol:Chloroform, 1x60ml Spin Column with Collection Tubes, 50 Wash Buffer 1, 1x35ml Wash Buffer 2 (Concentrated), 1x20ml RNase-Free Water, 1x6ml Elution Buffer (10mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 0.1mM EDTA), 1x6mlStorage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
