Angiogenesis is required for growth and development, wound healing, tissue granulation and formation of malignant tumors. The quick assessment of angiogenesis involves measurement of the ability of endothelial cells to form three-dimensional tube-like structures. Sample Type:Small molecules or recombinant proteinsIntended Use:For use in screening inhibitors and stimulators of angiogenesis, and for the study of angiogenesis related signal transduction. Test Principle:This Tube Formation BioAssay Kit provides a robust method to determine angiogenesis (in vitro) in <18 hrs. This assay kit provides a simple, easy to perform, semi-quantitative tool for assessing angiogenesis.Kit Components:Extracellular Matrix Solution, 2x1.25ml?Wash Buffer, 1x10ml ?Staining Dye Concentrate, 1x25ul ?Inhibitor Control -Vinblastine, 2um, 1x10ul Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
