- Sample Type:Serum, plasma, tissue homogenatesIntended Use:For the quantitative determination of porcine Apolipoprotein A5 (apo-A5) concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates.Sensitivity:7.8pg/mlRange:31.25-3000pg/mlSpecificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of porcine APO-A5. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between porcine APO-A5 and analogues was observed.Test Principle:This BioAssay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with APO-A5. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for APO-A5. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated APO-A5 and APO-A5 in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of APO-A5 in the samples.
