S-Adenosyl-L-homocysteine (SAH) is an aa derivative and an intermediate, by-product, or modulator of several metabolic pathways, including the activated methyl cycle and cysteine biosynthesis. It is also a product of S-adenosyl-methionine (SAM)-dependent methylation of biological molecules, including DNA, RNA, and histones and other proteins. SAH is a risk factor for many diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.Sample Type:Cells (cytoplasm and nucleus)Intended Use:This kit is designed to measure the amount of SAH in the cytoplasm and nucleus compartments of cells conveniently and quickly using Flow Cytometry.Applications:Methylation capability; one-carbon metabolism; methylation index Kit Components:AF488-anti-SAH Antibody, 1x120ulAntibody Dilution Buffer, 1x0.6mlCytoplasm Fix, 1x6.6mlNucleus Fix 1, 1x1.65mlNucleus Fix 2, 4.95mlPermeabilization Buffer, 10x, 1x3.9mlStorage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C.
