Mammalian HDAC-8，isolated from human kidney，is a member of the histone deacetylase family. HDAC-8 shares homology with other HDACs in the family，but has different tissue distribution. HDAC-8 is localized to the nucleus and plays a role in the tissue development as well as cancer etiology.

Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）， immunoprecipitation （10-20 ug/ml）， and Immunohistochemistry （10-20 ug/ml）. However， the optimal concentrations should be determined individually.
