Dectin-1also known as beta-glucan receptor is a small type II transmembrane receptor containing lectin-like carbohydrate recognition domain. Dectin-1 plays a role in beta-glucan dependant，nonopsonic recognition of zymosan by primary macropahge. Dectin-1 is expressed on macrophages and neutrophils and on some dendritic cells subpopulation.

Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes 28 kDa of Dectin-1 from samples of human origins. A ~16 kDa monomeric form and a 43 kDa glycoprotein can also be detected. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
