FoxH1 （also known as Forkhead box H1 or FAST-1） is a transcription factor that shares close homology with Xenopus FAST-1. FoxH1 binds to SMAD2/4 and activates activin response through a DNA binding motif region that consist of TGT（G/T）（T/G）ATT sequence. FoxH1 binding to Smad2/Smad4/FAST1 forms a transcriptionally complex structure that can induced TGFB signal transduction.

Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes ~44kDa of FoxH1 from samples of human， mouse and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
