- Sample Type:Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.Intended Use:For quantitative detection of LTB4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.Sensitivity:<9.375pg/mlPrecision: Intra-Assay CV: <8%Inter-Assay CV: <10%Range:15.625-1000pg/mlSpecificity:RatTest Principle:This BioAssay ELISA kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with LTB4. During the reaction, LTB4 in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of LTB4 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Antibody specific to LTB4. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
