Epitope tags are useful for the labeling and detection of proteins using immunoblotting，immunoprecipitation，and immunostaining techniques. The HA tag is derived from an epitope of the influenza hemagglutinin protein，which has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.

Western blot analysis， immunoprecipitation， and localization of recombinant HA-tagged proteins by standard immuno detection methods （2-10 ug/ml） using Avidin-FITC or other tags. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody detects HA-tag fused to the C-terminus or N-terminus of targeted proteins in transfected mammalian cells.
