Fibroblast Growth Factor-8 （FGF-8） is also known as Androgen-induced Growth Factor （AIGF），a heparin binding growth factor，which stimulates the proliferation and activation of cells that express the FGF receptors. Recombinant human FGF-8 is a 22.4 kDa protein containing 193 amino acid residues.
