Adipocytes are highly active cells with potent autocrine，paracrine，and endocrine functions. Adiponectin is a serum protein produced and secreted exclusively by adipose tissues. Unlike insulin and leptin，adiponectin levels in plasma remain constant throughout the day and are not acutely affected by food intake.
應用類型
Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）. Based on researchers feedback， it can also be used in Immunoprecipitation （10-20 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody detects the 30 kDa adiponectin in samples from mouse， rat and human origins. Recombinant adiponectin （Cat.# 4901-25） can be used as a positive control.
