背景資料: One of the most important factors in the cellular response to hypoxia is hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF), which transcriptionally activates genes encoding proteins that mediate adaptive responses to reduced oxygen availability. HIF is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) superfamily, in which the HLH domain mediates subunit dimerization while the basic domain binds to DNA. HIF binds to the hypoxia-responsive elements (HRE) located within the enhancer/promoter of hypoxia-inducible target genes and hence inhibits HRE-driven transcriptional activation. HIF target genes play critical roles in metabolism, angiogenesis, cell proliferation, and cell survival; in fact, HIF3-a may be a marker for tumor growth and apoptosis. Hif3 may participate in disorders with the cornea, lung, and heart. Anti-Hif3 alpha Antibody is useful for researchers interested in transcription factors, DNA binding, and Epilepsy research.

免疫原: This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region near aa 575-600 of mouse Hif3 a (Hypoxia Inducible Factor).

保存建議: Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
