背景資料: ZFP281, also known as ZBP-99, is a member of a conserved family of transcription factors that interact with GC-rich promoters. It contains four Kruppel-like zinc fingers and is highly homologous to ZBP-89, another regulator of ornithine decarboxylase gene expression. ZFP281 also interacts with many other other transcription factors, such as Sp1 to repress vimentin gene transcription. ZFP281 has also been shown to control embryonic stem cell pluripotency by direct regulating specific target genes. ZFP281 phyically interacts with the transcription factos POU5F1, Sox2, and NANOG. Gene expression microarray anlysis indicated that some ZFP281 target genes were activated, while others were repressed upon knockdown of ZFP281 expression, showing that ZFP281 plays bifuctinal roles in regulating gene expression in stem cells.

免疫原: Anti-ZFP281 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a 19 amino acid synthetic peptide near the C-terminus of human ZFP281.

保存建議: Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
