背景資料: Integrin beta 3, also called ITB3, belongs to the integrin beta chain family. Integrin alpha-V/beta-3 (ITGAV/ITB3) is a receptor for cytotactin, fibronectin, laminin, matrix metalloproteinase-2, osteopontin, osteomodulin, prothrombin, thrombospondin, vitronectin and von Willebrand factor. Integrin alpha-IIb/beta-3 (ITGA2B/ITGB3) is a receptor for fibronectin, fibrinogen, plasminogen, prothrombin, thrombospondin and vitronectin. Integrins alpha-IIb/beta-3 and alpha-V/beta-3 recognize the sequence R-G-D in a wide array of ligands. ITGA2B/ITGB3 recognizes the sequence H-H-L-G-G-G-A-K-Q-A-G-D-V in fibrinogen gamma chain. Following activation integrin alpha-IIb/beta-3 brings about platelet/platelet interaction through binding of soluble fibrinogen. This step leads to rapid platelet aggregation which physically plugs ruptured endothelial surface. ITGAV/ITB3 binds to CX3CL1, NRG1, FGF1, IGF1, PLA2G2A, and FBN1. ITGAV/ITGB3 acts as a receptor for herpes virus 8/HHV-8, coxsackievirus A9, Hantaan virus, cytomegalovirus/HHV-5, human metapneumovirus, human parechovirus 1, and west nile virus. Intergrin beta 3 may be associated with disorders such as Glanzmann thrombasthenia, myocardial infarction, purpura, and insulin-like growth factor i deficency. 免疫原: Anti-Integrin beta 3 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a C-Term portion of human Integrin beta 3 conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH).

保存建議: Store vial at -20° C or below prior to opening. This vial contains a relatively low volume of reagent (25 μL). To minimize loss of volume dilute 1:10 by adding 225 μL of the buffer stated above directly to the vial. Recap, mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge to collect the volume at the bottom of the vial. Use this intermediate dilution when calculating final dilutions as recommended below. Store the vial at -20°C or below after dilution. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
