背景資料: Receptor for short chain fatty acids. The activity of this receptor is coupled to the formation of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate, intracellular Ca2+ mobilization, the activation of ERK 1/2 and inhibition of intracellular cAMP accumulation. Coupled exclusively to the pertussis toxin-sensitive G(i/o)-alpha protein. The rank order of potency for agonists of this receptor is propionate = pentanoate = butyrate > acetate > formate.

補充：最優的抗體稀釋比例需要基于客戶實驗進行優化.建議的起始稀釋比例如下: WB: 1:500-1:2000, IF: 1:200-1:1000, ELISA: 1:5000. Not yet tested in other applications.
