1,2-Didocosahexaenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC is a phospholipid that contains docosahexaenoic acid at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions. It is a dietary phospholipid that has been shown to be important for maintaining the integrity of cellular membranes. These structures make up the outer layer of cells and allow for communication between cells and other molecules outside of the cell membrane. Reagent grade, for research use only.
