背景資料: HLA-DRB4 belongs to the HLA class II beta chainnparalogues. This class II molecule is a heterodimer consisting ofnan alpha (DRA) and a beta (DRB) chain, both anchored in thenmembrane. It plays a central role in the immune system bynpresenting peptides derived from extracellular proteins. Class IInmolecules are expressed in antigen presenting cells (APC: Bnlymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages). The beta chain isnapproximately 26-28 kDa and its gene contains 6 exons. Exon onenencodes the leader peptide, exons 2 and 3 encode the twonextracellular domains, exon 4 encodes the transmembrane domain andnexon 5 encodes the cytoplasmic tail. Within the DR molecule thenbeta chain contains all the polymorphisms specifying the peptidenbinding specificities. Typing for these polymorphisms is routinelyndone for bone marrow and kidney transplantation. DRB1 is expressednat a level five times higher than its paralogues DRB3, DRB4 andnDRB5. The presence of DRB4 is linked with allelic variants of DRB1,notherwise it is omitted. There are 4 related pseudogenes: DRB2,nDRB6, DRB7, DRB8 and DRB9.

免疫原: This HLA-DRB4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 43-72 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human HLA-DRB4.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
