背景資料: Elastases form a subfamily of serine proteases thatnhydrolyze many proteins in addition to elastin. Humans have sixnelastase genes which encode the structurally similar proteinsnelastase 1, 2, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B. Unlike other elastases, elastasen3B has little elastolytic activity. Like most of the humannelastases, elastase 3B is secreted from the pancreas as a zymogennand, like other serine proteases such as trypsin, chymotrypsin andnkallikrein, it has a digestive function in the intestine. Elastasen3B preferentially cleaves proteins after alanine residues. Elastasen3B may also function in the intestinal transport and metabolism ofncholesterol. Both elastase 3A and elastase 3B have been referred tonas protease E and as elastase 1, and excretion of this protein innfecal material is frequently used as a measure of pancreaticnfunction in clinical assays.

免疫原: This CELA3B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 70-98 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CELA3B.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
