背景資料: This gene encodes one of three GA-binding proteinntranscription factor subunits which functions as a DNA-bindingnsubunit. Since this subunit shares identity with a subunit encodingnthe nuclear respiratory factor 2 gene, it is likely involved innactivation of cytochrome oxidase expression and nuclear control ofnmitochondrial function. This subunit also shares identity with ansubunit constituting the transcription factor E4TF1, responsiblenfor expression of the adenovirus E4 gene. Because of itsnchromosomal localization and ability to form heterodimers withnother polypeptides, this gene may play a role in the Down Syndromenphenotype. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein havenbeen found for this gene.

免疫原: This GABPA antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 283-311 amino acids from the Central region of human GABPA.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
