背景資料: This gene encodes a member of the Rho family of smallnGTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and activenGTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signalntransduction cascades. Rho proteins promote reorganization of thenactin cytoskeleton and regulate cell shape, attachment, andnmotility. The protein encoded by this gene is prenylated at itsnC-terminus, and localizes to the cytoplasm and plasma membrane. Itnis thought to be important in cell locomotion. Overexpression ofnthis gene is associated with tumor cell proliferation andnmetastasis. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding thensame protein, have been identified.

免疫原: This RHOC antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 102-130 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RHOC.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
