背景資料: Major histocompatibility (MHC) class II molecules arentransmembrane proteins that have a central role in development andncontrol of the immune system. The protein encoded by this gene,nalong with regulatory factor X-associated ankyrin-containingnprotein and regulatory factor-5, forms a complex that binds to thenX box motif of certain MHC class II gene promoters and activatesntheir transcription. Once bound to the promoter, this complexnassociates with the non-DNA-binding factor MHC class IIntransactivator, which controls the cell type specificity andninducibility of MHC class II gene expression. Mutations in thisngene have been linked to bare lymphocyte syndrome type II,ncomplementation group D. Transcript variants utilizing differentnpolyA signals have been found for this gene.

免疫原: This RFXAP antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 196-225 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RFXAP.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
