背景資料: The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family ofnP-type primary ion transport ATPases characterized by the formationnof an aspartyl phosphate intermediate during the reaction cycle.nThese enzymes remove bivalent calcium ions from eukaryotic cellsnagainst very large concentration gradients and play a critical rolenin intracellular calcium homeostasis. The mammalian plasma membranencalcium ATPase isoforms are encoded by at least four separate genesnand the diversity of these enzymes is further increased bynalternative splicing of transcripts. The expression of differentnisoforms and splice variants is regulated in a developmental,ntissue- and cell type-specific manner, suggesting that these pumpsnare functionally adapted to the physiological needs of particularncells and tissues. This gene encodes the plasma membrane calciumnATPase isoform 4. Alternatively spliced transcript variantsnencoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided bynRefSeq].

免疫原: This ATP2B4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1174-1202 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human ATP2B4.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
