背景資料: This gene is expressed ubiquitously with higher levels innfetal than in adult tissues. It encodes a protein sharing 93%nsequence identity with the mouse protein. Wolf-Hirschhorn syndromen(WHS) is a malformation syndrome associated with a hemizygousndeletion of the distal short arm of chromosome 4. This gene isnmapped to the 165 kb WHS critical region, and may play a role innthe phenotype of the WHS or Pitt-Rogers-Danks syndrome. The encodednprotein is found to be capable of reacting with HLA-A2-restrictednand tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes, suggesting a target fornuse in specific immunotherapy for a large number of cancernpatients. This protein has also been shown to be a member of thenNELF (negative elongation factor) protein complex that participatesnin the regulation of RNA polymerase II transcription elongation.

免疫原: This WHSC2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 251-279 amino acids from the Central region of human WHSC2.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
