- The product of this gene belongs to the family ofnG-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptornsubtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlapsnin some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. Thisnreceptor is responsive to UDP, partially responsive to UTP and ADP,nand not responsive to ATP. Four transcript variants encoding thensame isoform have been identified for this gene.
