背景資料: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the PSCDnfamily. Members of this family have identical structuralnorganization that consists of an N-terminal coiled-coil motif, ancentral Sec7 domain, and a C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH)ndomain. The coiled-coil motif is involved in homodimerization, thenSec7 domain contains guanine-nucleotide exchange protein (GEP)nactivity, and the PH domain interacts with phospholipids and isnresponsible for association of PSCDs with membranes. Members ofnthis family appear to mediate the regulation of protein sorting andnmembrane trafficking. The encoded protein exhibits GEP activity innvitro with both ARF1 and ARF5 but is inactive with ARF6. Thenstructures of this gene and CYTH1 are very similar. [provided bynRefSeq].

免疫原: This CYTH4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 291-319 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CYTH4.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
