背景資料: Proprotein convertases, including PCSK4, arencalcium-dependent serine proteases related to bacterial subtilisinsnand to yeast kexin. These enzymes process precursor proteins tontheir active forms by selective cleavage of the polypeptide atnsites following paired basic amino acids. In mammals, this familyncomprises PC1 (MIM 162150), PC2 (MIM 162151), PC4, PC5 (MIMn600488), furin (FUR; MIM 136950), and PACE4 (MIM 167405).nSubstrates for these enzymes range from prohormones to precursorsnfor growth factors to cell surface receptors and viral surfacenglycoproteins (Cao et al., 2001 [PubMed 11776387]).[supplied bynOMIM].

免疫原: This PCSK4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 168-196 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human PCSK4.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
