背景資料: This gene encodes a PDZ domain-containing protein. PDZnmotifs are modular protein-protein interaction domains consistingnof 80-120 amino acid residues. PDZ domain-containing proteinsninteract with each other in cytoskeletal assembly or with othernproteins involved in targeting and clustering of membrane proteins.nThe protein encoded by this gene interacts with alpha-actinin-2nthrough its N-terminal PDZ domain and with protein kinase C via itsnC-terminal LIM domains. The LIM domain is a cysteine-rich motifndefined by 50-60 amino acids containing two zinc-binding modules.nThis protein also interacts with all three members of the myozeninnfamily. Mutations in this gene have been associated withnmyofibrillar myopathy and dilated cardiomyopathy. Alternativelynspliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have beennidentified; all isoforms have N-terminal PDZ domains while onlynlonger isoforms (1, 2 and 5) have C-terminal LIM domains. 免疫原: This LDB3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 235-262 amino acids from the Central region of human LDB3.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
