背景資料: The unusual amino acid hypusine is formednposttranslationally and is only found in a single cellular protein,neukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A. In the first step ofnhypusine biosynthesis, deoxyhypusine synthase catalyzes thenNAD-dependent transfer of the butylamine moiety of spermidine tonthe epsilon-amino group of a specific lysine residue of the EIF5Anprecursor protein to form the intermediate deoxyhypusine residue.nThis gene consists of nine exons spanning 6.6 kb. Three transcriptnvariants have been isolated. However, only transcript variant 1nencodes an active protein. The shorter variants may act asnmodulating factors of DHPS activity.

免疫原: This DHPS antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 16-43 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human DHPS.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
