背景資料: Muscle myosin is a hexameric protein containing 2 heavynchain subunits, 2 alkali light chain subunits, and 2 regulatorynlight chain subunits. This gene encodes the beta (or slow) heavynchain subunit of cardiac myosin. It is expressed predominantly innnormal human ventricle. It is also expressed in skeletal musclentissues rich in slow-twitch type I muscle fibers. Changes in thenrelative abundance of this protein and the alpha (or fast) heavynsubunit of cardiac myosin correlate with the contractile velocitynof cardiac muscle. Its expression is also altered during thyroidnhormone depletion and hemodynamic overloading. Mutations in thisngene are associated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,nmyosin storage myopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy, and Laingnearly-onset distal myopathy.

免疫原: This MYH7 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 185-211 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human MYH7.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
