背景資料: Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis,nconsist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Togethernthese subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80nstructurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomalnprotein that is a component of the 40S subunit. The protein belongsnto the S3AE family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in thencytoplasm. Disruption of the gene encoding rat ribosomal proteinnS3a, also named v-fos transformation effector protein, innv-fos-transformed rat cells results in reversion of the transformednphenotype. Transcript variants utilizing alternative transcriptionnstart sites have been described. This gene is co-transcribed withnthe U73A and U73B small nucleolar RNA genes, which are located innits fourth and third introns, respectively. As is typical for genesnencoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processednpseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.

免疫原: This RPS3A antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 228-254 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RPS3A.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
