背景資料: Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs) arentransmembrane glycoproteins expressed by natural killer cells andnsubsets of T cells. The KIR genes are polymorphic and highlynhomologous and they are found in a cluster on chromosome 19q13.4nwithin the 1 Mb leukocyte receptor complex (LRC). The gene contentnof the KIR gene cluster varies among haplotypes, although severaln'framework' genes are found in all haplotypes (KIR3DL3, KIR3DP1,nKIR3DL4, KIR3DL2). The KIR proteins are classified by the number ofnextracellular immunoglobulin domains (2D or 3D) and by whether theynhave a long (L) or short (S) cytoplasmic domain. KIR proteins withnthe long cytoplasmic domain transduce inhibitory signals uponnligand binding via an immune tyrosine-based inhibitory motifn(ITIM), while KIR proteins with the short cytoplasmic domain lacknthe ITIM motif and instead associate with the TYRO protein tyrosinenkinase binding protein to transduce activating signals. The ligandsnfor several KIR proteins are subsets of HLA class I molecules;nthus, KIR proteins are thought to play an important role innregulation of the immune response.

免疫原: This KIR2DS3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 268-295 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human KIR2DS3.

保存建議: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
