- Mouse interleukin 21. IL21 has a role in the proliferation and maturation of natural killer (NK) cell populations from bone marrow, in the proliferation of mature B-cell populations co-stimulated with anti-CD40, and in the proliferation of T cells co-stimulated with anti-CD3. IL-21 also down-regulates IgE production from IL-4-stimulated B cells through the inhibition of germ line C(ε) transcription and thus suggest that IL-21 may be useful for the treatment of IgE-dependent allergic diseases.

- Il21 antibody can be stored at 4˚C for short term (weeks). Long term storage should be at -20˚C. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
