EbbaBiolight分子允許直接觀察細菌或細菌生物膜,而不使用抗體或任何有毒化學物質(zhì)。當與目標結(jié)合時,分子變得高度熒光,無毒,并且在推薦濃度下不會干擾細菌生長或生物膜形成,因此Ebbabiolight可以添加到活培養(yǎng)物中,使用分光光度分析實時跟蹤細菌生長或生物膜形成。此外,Ebbabilight是感光性和耐熱的,并允許在任何應用中,易于處理。

氣固界面沙門氏菌生物膜的成像和實時監(jiān)控--
新的方法表明,Ebbabilight可以混合到生長介質(zhì)(瓊脂)中。這使得沙門氏菌生物膜中細胞外成分的非破壞性選擇性跟蹤成為可能。
細胞外基質(zhì)成分的空間和時間動態(tài),允許定性和定量的結(jié)構(gòu)分析。

對于 Staphylococci的直接檢測和定量,研究表明,Ebbabilight與細胞包膜成分結(jié)合。由于EbbaBiolight不與革蘭氏陰性細菌結(jié)合,因此可以區(qū)分革蘭氏+ve和革蘭氏- ve,熒光強度與光密度線性相關(guān),在樣品中定量準確直接。
