胰島素（insulin）是胰島β細(xì)胞分泌的蛋白質(zhì)激素。胰島素是機(jī)體內(nèi)唯一降低血糖的激素，同時(shí)促進(jìn)糖原、脂肪、蛋白質(zhì)合成。胰島素是由二條多肽鏈組成。A鏈含有21個(gè)氨基酸，B鏈含有30個(gè)氨基酸，二鏈通過二硫鏈相互連接。血液中胰島素的半衰期約為7～15mins。胰島素是治療糖尿病的常用藥物之一，目前臨床上所用的胰島素多從豬、牛等動(dòng)物胰腺中提取。
