甲基法呢酯(MF)是一種與昆蟲保幼激素結(jié)構(gòu)相似的甲殼動物繁殖激素。它負(fù)責(zé)促進(jìn)生殖成熟、維持幼體形態(tài)以及影響雄性性別決定。隨著甲基法呢酯濃度的增加,雌性溞屬動物繁殖的后代中雄性的比例會以劑量依賴的方式增加。甲基法呢酯是在下顎器官中內(nèi)源性產(chǎn)生的,環(huán)境因素如鹽度和溫度可以影響其血淋巴水平。
