Epoxyeicosatrienoic acids -EETs), lipid mediators synthesized from arachidonic acid by cytochrome P-450 epoxygenases, are converted by soluble epoxide hydrolase -sEH) to the corresponding dihydroxyeicosatrienoic acids -DHETs).
