產品描述: Interleukin 12 （IL-12），also known as natural killer cell stimulatory factor （NKSF） or cytotoxic lymphocyte maturation factor （CLMF），is a heterodimeric pleiotropic cytokine made up of a 40kD （p40） subunit and a 35kD （p35） subunit. The IL-12 p40 subunit is shared by IL-23，another heterodimeric cytokine that has biological activities similar to，as well as distinct from，IL-12. IL-12 is produced by macrophages and B cells and has been shown to have multiple effects on T cells and natural killer （NK） cells. While mouse IL-12 is active on both human and mouse cells，human IL-12 is not active on mouse cells.Sample Type：Cell culture supernatants，serum，plasma，and tissueIntended Use：The Rat IL-12 p70 BioAssay ELISA Kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative detection of Rat IL-12 p70 concentrations in cell culture supernatants，serum，plasma，and tissue.Sensitivity：7pg/mlRange：15.625-1000pg/mlSpecificity：Recognizes rat IL-12 p70.Sample Volume：100ul/wellTest Principle：This assay employs the Sandwich immunoassay technique. An anti-r IL-12 p70 monoclonal coating antibody is adsorbed onto microwells. IL-12 p70 present in the sample or standard binds to antibodies adsorbed to the microwells. Following incubation unbound sample or standard are removed during a wash step. a Biotinylated anti-r IL-12 p70 antibody is added and binds to IL-12 p70 captured by the first antibody. Following incubation unbound Biotinylated anti-r IL-12 p70 antibody is removed during a wash step. A Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to Biotinylated anti-r IL-12 p70 antibody. Following incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is removed during a wash step. A colored product is formed in proportion to the amount of IL-12 p70 present in the sample. The reaction is terminated by addition of acid and absorbance is measured at 450nm.
