產(chǎn)品描述: Interleukin 4 （IL-4） is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by activated T lymphocytes，mast cells and basophils. IL-4 has multiple immune response-modulating activities on a variety of cell types. It is an important regulator of isotype switching，inducing IgE production in B lymphocytes. It is an important modulator of the differentiation of precursor T helper cells to the Th2 subset that mediates humoral immunity and modulates antibody production. In addition，IL-4 has also been shown to have anti-tumor activity both in vivo and in vitro. The cDNA sequence of mouse IL-4 predicts a 140aa residue precursor protein containing a 20aa residue signal peptide that is cleaved to form the mature protein. At the amino acid sequence level，mature mouse IL-4 is approximately 50% identical to human IL-4 but there is no species cross-reactivity for biological activity for the two proteins.Sample Type：Cell culture supernatants，serum，plasma，and tissueIntended Use：The Mouse IL-4 BioAssay ELISA Kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative detection of Mouse IL-4 concentrations in cell culture supernatants，serum，plasma，and tissue.Sensitivity：7pg/mlRange：15.625-1000pg/mlSpecificity：Recognizes mouse IL-4. There was no detectable cross reactivity with any of the tested proteins following IL-1,2,3,5,6,10，8,12,TNF,VEGF,TGF and IFN.Sample Volume：100ul/wellTest Principle：This assay employs the Sandwich immunoassay technique. An anti-m IL-4 monoclonal coating antibody is adsorbed onto microwells. IL-4 present in the sample or standard and Biotinylated anti IL-4 antibody binds to antibodies adsorbed to the microwells. Following incubation unbound sample or standard and Biotinylated anti IL-4 antibody are removed during a wash step. A Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to Biotinylated anti IL-4 antibody. Following incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is removed during a wash step. A colored product is formed in proportion to the amount of IL-4 present in the sample. The reaction is terminated by addition of acid and absorbance is measured at 450nm.
